Activites of the year 2012
1) Bishop Brodeur Assembly is celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary this year. We don’t have a date yet, we will keep you informed so you can come and celebrate with us.
2) February 12: Fundraising Breakfast for Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary school to help their Mission Trip to Dominican Republic for 10 Days at Blessed Sacrament Church basement from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
3) March 17: St Patrick Parade in Ottawa 10.00am leaves City Hall down Bank St. to Lanesdown Park.
4) May 10: March for Life in Ottawa from Parliament Hill for Pro-life Demonstrations. Buses will be leaving Cornwall to go.
5) May 25-26: Exemplification in Brockville if anyone wants to join the 4th degree you must hurry because there is only limited amount of tickets for the Banquet.
6) June 26: Outdoor Mass for the Unborn Child at St Peters Church grounds, it is a really nice Mass Faithful Friar Fr. Kevin will celebrate the Mass at 7.00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
7) August 5: Corn Roast & B.B.Q. by the Precious Blood, Church grounds Glen Walter starts at 2.00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
8) September 23: Fundraising Spaghetti Supper for the Children’s Treatment Center. This was a big event the last 2 years, we gave the Center over $ 12.000 dollars.
9) September ?: Bishop Brodeur Assembly, Installation of Officers no date yet.
10) November 5: Memorial Mass for Deceased Sir Knight at St. Peters Church 07.00 p.m.
11) November 11: The Royal Canadian Legion Parade, laying of the Wreath at the cenotaph.
12) December 1: Annual Awards & Christmas Party at 755 Council. Seminarian Henri Abena Cheque for $ 500.00 was given.
13) Our Meetings are always held on the 1st Monday of every month with the exception of January and September a week later, Mass at 06.30 p.m., Supper at 07.00 p.m. then the Meeting.
14) We loss one of our members, Sir Knight Ludger Dube. He was a very active member. He served on our Executive for many years. He will be missed. Closing prayers for him would be appreciated.
