Jean Pierre Ricard FIC CSA CLU CFP serves as a Fraternal Counselor for the Madore Agency in Eastern Ontario. He represents several councils in the Alexandria Cornwall Diocese as well as in the Hawkesbury area. Jean Pierre lives in Glen Robertson with his wife Suzanne, daughter Lianne, and son Mathieu.

Jean Pierre joined the Knights of Columbus in 1994. As a member in good standing, he serves his councils and parishes in many capacities. He has served as member of the membership, recruitment and retention committees, participates in various council activities, was named Minister of the Eucharist and member of the finance committee of St Marie de L'assomption parish in Green Valley. He is now a regular reader at weekend masses in his parish, and is part of the cursillo movement since 2001 at St Martin de Tours Parish. He was exemplified into the 4th degree in 1997 and is a member of the Marcel Renaud Assembly in Cornwall.

Previous to joining the Knights of Columbus field force Jean Pierre worked in the transportation industry for 14 years, and also had a very successful DJ entertainment business.

Jean-Pierre joined the Knights of Columbus field force in May of 1995. As your Knights of Columbus Fraternal Counselor, Jean Pierre has dedicated himself to the principals an ideals upon which the Knights of Columbus was founded: to carry out Father McGivney's vision to protect the family and assist members and their families during difficult times. His continued success has earned him many distinctions:

 

  • Earned the Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) designation in 1996
  • Member of NAFIC (National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors) since 1996
  • Repeat recipient of NAFIC's Quality Service Award.
  • Repeat qualifying member of the Supreme Knight's sales club, which honors the top agents in the Order (based on sales and service).
  • Member of Advocis, Canada's premiere professional association for financial advisors formerly the (Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial advisors)
  • Earned the CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) designation in 2005.
  • Member of Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors (CASA).
  • Board Member of Advocis Cornwall.
  • Earned the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) in 2005 after completing 9 specialty courses in financial and estate planning needs.
Jean Pierre continues to expand his skill set and is dedicated to continuing his educational pursuits.

Paul serves as Fraternal Counsellor for the Madore Agency in Eastern Ontario. He represents 12 councils in the Ottawa & Eastern Ontario region. Paul lives in Kanata with his wife Suzanne, they have six children, one deceased and three of which have moved on to become their own masters of their destiny. Paul’s formal education started in a catholic school and completed in the Computer Science course at Algonquin College. The Porter’s are active in the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, where Paul sings in the senior choir.

Paul joined the Knights of Columbus in 1989 and served in his Councils in several capacities. He has served as Warden, Treasurer, Trustee, Guard, and as a Chairman of several committees. He was exemplified into the Fourth Degree in 1993 and is a member of Cartier Assembly #860.

Previous to joining the Knights of Columbus field force, Paul enjoyed a successful career as a Disaster Recovery Planner and Business Continuity Planner. From 1985 through 1998, Paul worked for an international corporation as a Network Manager and served on the Disaster Recovery Team.

The Knights of Columbus field force was pleased to accept Paul in January 2006. As a Knights of Columbus fraternal counsellor, Paul has dedicated himself to the principles and ideals upon which the Knights of Columbus was founded: to carry out Father McGivney's vision to protect the family and assist Member’s and their families during difficult times. His experience both in the field and in life’s trials and tribulations, serve him well and has prepared Paul for his works within the Knights.

* Paul has earned the Most Valuable Player Award in April of 2006.

* Earned the Fraternal Insurance Counsellor (FIC) designation in November 2006.

Paul continues to expand his skill set and is dedicated to continuing education. He is committed to helping others and genuinely concerned in the interests of your family.
